HEALTH & SAFETY
Safety is at the core of everything we do. Our group managing director, Bernard Nevin, assumes personal responsibility for the safe management of all our operations. We are proud of our safety record, despite operating in a traditionally hazardous industry, through the prioritisation and implementation of our safety management system, we have not had any serious accidents, incidences or occurrences on any of our sites.
We are Grade “A” Safe T Cert accreditated company. For us, this is the rubber-stamping of a system operated within our business for many years, a system we continually review and adapt to allow us maintain our impeccable safety record.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our management plays a critical role in leading the pursuit of responsible business practices, and specifically the implementation of our Environmental Policy and respective systems. As an integral part of this policy and as part of Waterford City and County Council’s roadmap to delivering a carbon neutral Waterford by 2040, we have taken the pledge for a Greener Cleaner Waterford. We will focus on improving our practice and operations to reduce their impact on the environment through the following goals:
