Construction Management
Development Consultancy
Once Nevin are awarded a Contract, a construction team is appointed to take the project forward to completion. The office based project team comprises senior surveyor and a contracts manager, with the full services of subcontract procurement, purchasing and health and safety.
The site based team will comprise of a site manager, site foreman and engineers all with the relevant expertise for the particular project. Appropriate Resources are applied depending on the complexity of each job. The senior management team takes a hands on approach to ensure that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.
Through our system of supply chain management, each subcontractor is carefully chosen to ensure that their expertise is appropriate for the element of the construction process for which they are procured. We have a proven track record with our subcontractors ensuring continuity of our company ethos.
The following forms of contract are available to clients.
- Tendered Contract
Providing competitive tenders to clients for fully developed architectural and engineered plans.
- Negotiated Build Contracts
Nevin can negotiate the price, specification, contract duration once planning permission is received. Nevin can therefore, interface with the entire Design Team at an early stage to ensure the client receives a prompt, cost effective and purchaser attractive project.
- Cost Plus Contracts
For developers wishing to avail of maximum flexibility who may wish to alter plans through a construction project depending on the fluid development market, Nevin can provide an open book Cost Plus facility.
The above forms of contract are available at Nevins, in a pure contractor role or as Contractor / Project Manager working with the rest of the Design Team.
