BSc (Hons) Construction Management, National Certificate in Construction Studies, National Diploma in Buildings and Services Management, Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Ordinary Member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland, Building Energy Assessor.
John is a chartered builder and an active member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland, with over 13 years experience in the management of large scale construction projects. John spent time in Australia, working with large developers, where his hands-on approach allowed him the opportunity to manage on-site teams in an efficient and effective manner. John has acted at all levels of management ranging from site engineer, through to site manager, and contracts manager leading to his current role as company director, where he enjoys the opportunity to guide projects and teams directly.
In 2005, John joined the team in Nevin Construction, as contracts director. In this role, John’s primary focus is to deliver projects on time, safely, within budget and most importantly, to exceed his client’s expectations. John is also a registered Building Energy Rating Assessor (BER) and has previously acted as a safe pass tutor, so his competencies extend to the energy efficiency and safety aspects of the business.
